gulp...

If you came to buy wine, the store's closed today. We apologize for the hiccup.

But we still want you to hang out with us. Browse our site, expand your wine vocabulary, check out our nifty video, even fill up your shopping cart or use the wish list to remember the wines you’d like to buy when you can.

We'll be back up and running soon. Promise!

WINE 101 > WINE CLEAN UP

Like most things in life, there are lots of opinions but few answers on how to cleanup wine spills.

There are only two things worse to get out of clothing, napkins or a table cloth; blood and pumpkin seed oil. Pumpkin seed oil, forget it but for wine use Wine Away. I was introduced to this when barrel tasting. Wines are at their stainiest at this stage and a splash on kakai pants disappeared like magic when sprayed with Wine Away.

We’re not offering it on our site but we should. Good wine shops carry it. Ladies there is a size small enough to carry in your purse, you could save a favorite blouse. You’ll have to leave the restaurant with a big wet spot but, hek, you’ll probably never see any of those people again anyway.

If you'd rather walk through the resautrant with a smaller spot that looks like red wine or borscht, that's okay. Wine Away works well the next day, too.
