Characteristics: A lovely fair rosé has a fine complexion that tells us it was whole cluster pressed rather than saignée method that allows longer skin contact. This is just the sort of rosé to drink all day long. An engaging floral aroma of nectarines greets the nose and lures one onto a dry and crisp palate of strawberries and mandarins. Nicely structured for the table, it is just as charming on its own. From 70 year old, dry farmed Carignan, this rosé shows just what long but gently ripened Carignan can do: completely beguile.
