Alexander Valley Vineyards Chardonnay 2010, Chardonnay Wine
Origin: USA California - Sonoma
Artisan Vineyard Notes
Characteristics: Alexander Valley Vineyards 2010 Chardonnay A true taste of Sonoma's Alexander Valley, this is gorgeous Chardonnay with plenty of orchard fruit. It’s smoother than many of its peers yet offers so much more –with hints of gun flint smoke and a mineral lift –this is really polished, smooth and impressive. Juicy apple acids keep everything in a fascinating tension. At the last side by side tasting this was THE crowd pleaser and I have no doubts as to why; it’s absolutely delicious. Wine review by Nicholas D. Livingston, January 2012
Food Pairings: The light hand Kevin applied to the 2008 means it will work in places where an oaky, buttery Chardonnay would not. So this wine is perfect with roasted chicken or sautéed bay scallops. But the medium weight of the Estate Chardonnay means it can handle richer dishes like Fettuccini Alfredo or poached salmon.

Expert Review
87 Points - The 2010 Chardonnay Estate is a very pretty wine, not to mention an outstanding value in California Chardonnay. Lemon, vanilla, white flowers and green pears are some of the notes that flow from this zesty, vibrant Chardonnay. The estate’s Chardonnay is aged 70% in steel and 30% in French oak. A dollop of Viognier adds aromatic complexity. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014. - wine reveiw by Wine Advocate, February 2012

Angeline Chardonnay 2012
Characteristics: Coastal Californian Chardonnay retains the brighter charms of Chardonnay with fresh and firm guava and papaya notes on the nose that round out with a ripe fruit on the palate. Although dry it almost comes across as sweetly fragrant on the mid-palate in a way that makes this a natural with savory cuisine from India to Thailand as it can handle density and heat. Barraud Pouilly Fuisse La Roche 2007
Characteristics: Here the thin soils show themselves which in the 2007s is a terrific complexity. The nose is stoney, chalky. Quince, preserved lemons in the flavours with a shimmery steeliness in the finish. - wine tasting note by LAC, March 2010

Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2007
Characteristics: Roussanne can be thin and tart and is not often bottled on its own, being blended with Marsanne wine which has virtually replaced it as the mainstay grape in Rhône blends. It doesn’t sound like much so far but stick with me on this because some of the most glorious, not to be missed, white wines in the Rhone and now in a few hands in California are from this problematic grape. These stellar versions are very close to one another as it is a very narrow interpretation that allows Roussanne to perform well; using barrel fermentation and oak aging used on old vine harvests. The aroma of Roussanne is not overtly fruity but rather ethereal suggesting wild flowers or herbal tea layered atop a butteriness from the barrel fermentation. Roussanne wines and their blends hold up well with cellaring and may be enjoyable a decade or more past the vintage.

Riedel Sommeliers Chablis/Chardonnay
Description: In 1973, in Orvieto, Claus Riedel presented the world's first gourmet glass series developed with the help of the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers (A.I.S.). The Sommeliers series was developed further by his son Georg, into an all-embracing state-of-the-art wine glass collection. Praised in 1991 by Robert Parker, Jr, as "The finest glasses for both technical and hedonistic purposes are those made by Riedel. The effect of these glasses on fine wine is profound. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference they make."
Each glass is individually made: the upper parts blown into a mould, the stem and base hand-crafted using methods developed at the time of Christ's birth. Sommeliers are executed in over 24% lead crystal. This glass can also be used with the following wines: Albariño, Bordeaux White, Folle Blanche, Lagrein, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris, Rhone Blanc, Torrontes, Verdelho, Vernaccia, Viognier, Virua, Zweigelt.

Riedel Extreme Chardonnay
Description: First developed in 2000 by Georg Riedel, Vinum Extreme glasses are named for their extreme contours and have diamond-shaped bowls that angle out dramatically before narrowing at the top. The result is an exceptionally wide evaporation surface that intensifies and enhances silkiness in the mouth of New World wines, which tend to be more fruit driven in style. This glass can also be used to enjoy the following varietals: Burgundy White, Chardonnay, Chardonnay New World, Pouilly-Fuisse

Riedel 'O' Chardonnay/Viognier 2 packs
Description: Riedel "O" is the new take on the wine tumbler. The tumbler, used for centuries as an all-round drinking vessel, is now turned into a sophisticated wine accessory. In short: "O" is the ideal glass for every day use and for every occasion. Without stems to knock into or over, the "O" is pet-proof and kid-friendly, meaning fewer glasses to replace down the line.
The designs of "O" are based on the benchmark shapes of Riedel Vinum. For the first time in glass history the design parameters such as shape of tumbler, size and diameter of rim, have been finely-tuned to enhance the world's most important grape varietals. The price range for the non lead machine-blown glass series is half the price of Riedel Vinum glasses.
It fits in every dishwasher, picnic basket, minibar or small kitchen. Broken stems are a thing of the past.
