It was our fascination with wine and the people who make it that led us to start an import business in 1985 and now to create artisanvineyards.com.  As you’re here, I suspect you harbor similar feelings. 

We hope to bring you many things through artisanvineyards.com, but first and foremost, it is the undiscovered artists and their wines that we want to introduce to you, to highlight.  Some artists create so few or such idiosyncratic and unique works as to never have broad enough exposure or appeal to be commercially successful yet are so inspirational as to deserve patronage for the good of our souls and the grace these people bring to life. We have found that many of the true treasures in wine go unappreciated.  But hopefully, this will be no more.

Our entire catalogue is filled with wonderful wines from around the world; producers who we believe to be exemplary in their categories.  We hope you find something on our site that sparks your curiosity and brings you back for more.  Many of the wine makers we have decided to work with are truly artisans and it is our pleasure and honor to introduce them to you.
