Artisan Vineyard Notes
Characteristics: This wine starts with a lemon drop & citrus candy nose. There are notes of rich honeysuckle following that. When the wine hits the palate it is incredibly sexy, rich and full. The wine fills your mouth and finishes with a creamy and elegant honey & white pepper lift.

What else do 35-50 year old vines have to say when planted beneath La Roche? Well, despite being owned by the commune of Vergisson, here is where father and son meet. Daniel and Julien each rent neighboring plots at 1100-1200 feet and craft from this gifted fruit fabulous wine. Ripe apples, waxy skins and a nice richness pull together into a seamless texture that at once benefits by juicy acids and a rich finish. Lofty lavender gently passes, smoky tannins lend their part and we’re left in the wake of the harmony of the land, year, weather and winemaking.
