We’ve strived, striven and strove to make this site a reflection of our passion. It would be a success if even a few of you are moved to an expanded appreciation of wine. We believe such an appreciation can enrich your life in the same way as music, art, good conversation.

Hopefully this site reflects our enthusiasm and provides an inviting access to learning about wine. But a site, however well intentioned and designed has intrinsic shortcomings. No matter our foresight and clever machinations we can’t have anticipated all of your questions. For that we have Marcus.

Marcus is our go to guy. You know that person you call about problems with your computer or cell phone before you’d read the manual. That’s Marcus. God knows I’m not suggesting that you contact him about computer questions or cell phones of which he loses six or seven a year. No, things more aesthetic such as wine or food are his forte and fodder.
